Neck Pain

Neck pain can range from mild stiffness to sharper pain that limits turning, looking up, or working comfortably. It’s often accompanied by tension through the shoulders and upper back, and may contribute to headaches, dizziness, or symptoms that refer into the arm. Flare-ups can be triggered by prolonged sitting, stress, poor sleep positions, sudden movements, or training load.

Treatment aims to settle pain, restore normal range of motion, and improve strength and control through the neck and shoulder girdle to reduce recurrence. This may include hands-on therapy to reduce joint and muscle irritation where appropriate, combined with mobility and strengthening exercises tailored to your symptoms and lifestyle. You’ll also receive practical advice on movement habits, workstation setup, and pacing, so you can return to work, training, and daily activity with less restriction. If symptoms suggest nerve compression or require medical review, you will be referred promptly.
